One Button Suit, with special guest Barwick & Siegfried

Two of northern California’s most acclaimed acoustic Americana ensembles—One Button Suit

and Barwick & Siegfried—join forces for a powerhouse night of roots music on Friday, July

12, at Wild Eye Pub, located at 535 Mill Street in Grass Valley. The show begins at 6:30 pm.

One Button Suit—Tom Shewmake (mandolin, vocals), Ben Kopf (bass, vocals), Melissa

Troberg Lincoln (fiddle, vocals) and Brian Burke (guitar, vocals)—is a fast-rising Sacramento-

based stringband that combines a traditional sensibility with a modern twist. Performing a rich

mix of original songs, bluegrass standards and rock classics from the Band and the Beatles, One

Button Suit has appeared throughout northern California and Nevada, including at such

prestigious music festivals as Strawberry and the Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival. These four

musicians bring a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to the band, and fuse them into

these folks for several years and have watched them grow into this fabulous band. But they

haven’t really played much around here, except for Strawberry and the FDF, and that’s just

that fans and friends of Barwick & Siegfried will come and discover this great band. Pete and I

will start the night with a set and then One Button Suit will play. I wouldn’t be too surprised if
